About me

Well hello there welcome to the about page, thanks for checking it out! Here's some additional info about me :DMy name's MedaTyvn and as it can be seen already, to put it shortly, i make art. I'm still in highschool and currently questioning if I have it in me to follow my dream of making and sharing art or if I should just choose something "more stable" to continue my studies in.I started posting my art on twitter 2 years ago but I'm trying my best to extend that to other platforms too. My interests are currently

  • Minecraft (in the form of playing and watching too but in the latter case I really enjoy): Hermitcraft, the Life Series, many mc events and recently I've been getting into mcsr too. In the case of currently running smps I'm really enjoying Past Life, and also Lifesteal which I started watching this season.

  • TTRPGs: this is a newer thing as well, I'm mainly into dnd and very specifically love No Dice, a campaign DMd by Owenjuicetv and started during last year's Tubathon (which is Tubbo's yearly subathon)

  • Lots of animated movies: but my favourites are How To Train Your Dragon and Kung Fu Panda, I really love the music used in them as well

  • Deception and puzzle games: I really enjoy watching games like among us (morning lobby is awesome), mafia, and so on. Puzzle games are just entertaining to watch no matter the person but really loved Zedaph and Tango's duo streams of these

  • Art: obviously, but I'm doing more and more original art too, not just fanart. I've been making the background for this site for a while too but more can be found about this whole interest on the art page

  • Photography: I've been doing that for like 5 years now, mostly with my camera. I love documenting my travels, especially photographing buildings, landscapes, and all kinds of plants. Oh and trains, vehicles, all of those stuff too

  • Writing: well this is a whole thing, I first began writing my book about 4 years ago but started seriously focusing on improving it over the past year. There's much to share about that story so maybe soon more things will be found out about those stuff

Traditional art

I've been making traditional art ever since I could hold a pencil. I remember making hand-crafted presents for my family for birthdays as my earliest crafting memory. It was about 4 years ago when I started making art more frequently, began a sketchbook, and made lots of character art for my book too. Since then I've worked on multiple projects including different mediums which I'll try to showcase here

Lil sketchbook

This is a small sketchbook in which I draw mcyts, I started this project in 2023 and it's still ongoing. You can find the full thread of these pieces on my twitter or bluesky

Here's some other traditional art including the sketchbook covers I painted last year, 2 pieces from that sketchbook, a drawing of a gate from my book which was originally made for art class, and the first drawing of a new sketchbook I started

Digital art

My digital art making really began about 3 years ago when I got my drawing pad. Prior to that I used my old tablet for it a few times but it never worked too well. Soon after I dived into traditional art I started being more and more interested in digital too. I love making bigger pieces in digital that usually take me weeks, the continuity keeps me going. My current plan is to focus more on character arts and possibly some animations in the future

This segment includes some of my favourite pieces I've made over the past year which are my banner, Mace to the Face (art of Pearl and Tango from Hermitcraft S10 slaying a warden), the beginning art of my thread to the Lil Sketchbook, the background of this carrd: Landscape of Elementalia, and A Trip to the Mines (Cowboy smp art of Apo, Cherri and 4C).

This is it for now. I might add a photography section in the future too we'll see. As for the other art stuff, I make a lot more traditional art including ones on wood but those are usually presents so they won't be published here. Although I do have a few ideas for wood pieces that are mcyt themed so maybe this will be updated in a few months. Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoyed, have a good one! :D
